Waiting
for the Aldi is part of my long term project City
Scripts.
Throughout
the Netherlands I take pictures of Aldi entrances when the store is
about to open- at the moment when regularly a mob of costumers stands
waiting there.
Almost
without exception this scene takes place every morning in front of every
Aldi store. Without common agreement customers perform the same act.
This
turns the opening hours of the Aldi stores into a script which determines
people's behaviour, which eventually results in this photo archive -
Waiting for the Aldi.
